Super Gloss Aromatic Lacquer

SS4120 - Primer SS4120 is a primer that is formulated for use with Momentive Performance Materials RTV silicone rubber adhesive sealants. Momentive Performance Materials one-component products offer primerless adhesion to many substrates. Primers are used to help promote adhesion to difficult-to-bond substrates. For most Momentive Performance Materials two-component products, a primer is required when an adhesive bond is needed between the silicone rubber compound and a non-silicone surface. All primers are one-component products requiring no mixing and are supplied ready-to-use as easily pourable solvent solutions. SS4120 primer helps promote adhesion of Momentive Performance Materials addition cure RTVs and is used where clarity is needed.

SYNTRAN® AC 7018 is an alkali-soluble acrylic copolymer with excellent film clarity. It is used in highly transparent wood-stains for industrial applications. USI Chemical Silane USi-2301 improves both adhesion to the substrate and mechanical properties such as flexural strength, tensile strength and modulus of elasticity.

Optically clear, solid fused amorphous silica microspheres specially engineered for optimum dispersion in paints, coatings, inks, adhesives, and thermoplastics, including UV curable compositions. These microspheres increase corrosion and impact resistance, reduce shrinkage, improve adhesion, and enhance surface qualities including mar and scratch resistance. Ideally suited for specialty applications where mechanical and rheological properties are required. Median particle size of 3 to 4 microns, with a particle size range of 0.5 microns to 92% passing 22 microns.

AC-EAGLE (TP-2W40)40% is a thermoplastic acrylic with low viscosity for primers with very good penetration and recommendedfor stone varnishes in aliphatic solvent with excellent drying and hardness.

Life-Kote 92G19 Series Gray Primer is a premium high performance, fast drying, corrosion resistant metal primer containing rust inhibitive pigments for interior and exterior applications. This TTP-664 primer may be used as a barrier coat to permit vinyls, epoxies, or other strong solvent containing top coats to be applied. Adheres tightly to clean metal and to topcoats. Contains no lead, chrome or other heavy metal compounds. VOC compliant.

SYNTRAN® DR 7101 is a water-based alkali-solubilised styrene-acrylic copolymer based on our polymeric surfactant technology. This polymer was designed to improve dispersibility and color development of water- based pigment concentrates and coatings and can be used for both inorganic and organic pigment dispersions. Used as a grinding resin, it shows excellent rheology control and storage stability with multiple pigment types. Depending on the application and the objective, SYNTRAN® DR 7101 is typically used in concentrations between 10% and 30%. This technology was designed for the self-crosslinking mechanism to fully cure at room temperature while maintaining long-term shelf stability. DISPARLON® NS-30 is a patented blend of polyolefin with amide in xylene in paste form. This product effectively prevents sagging and settling of solvent-based coatings including those containing anti-corrosive pigments at high concentrations. NS-30 has little effect on viscosity, while still imparting strong anti-sagging/anti-settling properties.

SYNPRINT AC 5151 is an acrylic polymer based on multiphase technology. This is a proprietary process that combines two different types of polymers in the same polymer network. It allows a balanced combination and an overall improvement of the physical properties of the two polymers. SYNPRINT AC 5151 forms a film with very high gloss, blocking resistance, rub resistance and printability with various types of inks. It also exhibits excellent adhesion to various substrates. Casamid™ 831 is a co-solvent thermoplastic polyamide resin designed for use in gravure inks and lacquers. CASAMID 831 is the highest viscosity grade of the standard range of CASAMID non- reactive polyamide resins. The composition of CASAMID 831 is similar to that approved under FDA 175.320-"Resinous and polymeric coatings for polyolefin films."

AdvaBond®7418 is a non-chlorinated water-based adhesion promoter for low surface energy substrates. It is designed to work on surfaces without any surface treatment such as corona or flame. AdvaBond®7418 can be used as a primer or as an additive to a paint, coating or adhesive formulations.

USI Chemical Silane USi-1302 functions as a surface modifier in fillers and pigments, where it improves the dispersibility of the filler and the mechanical properties such as flexural strength, tensile strength and modulus of the composites. The silane also has its application as an adhesion promoter in formulations and primers & reduces the filler's sedimentation tendency in the uncured polymer. Silane USi-1302 also greatly increases water (vapor) and corrosion resistance.

PHENODUR® PR 308/62MP is an uncured, unplasticized phenolic resin with applications as a coloring resin for gold lacquers and water-borne systems. It functions as both a crosslinking agent and a binder, making it suitable for use in primers and lacquers, as well as other packaging coatings. This resin is labeled as bisphenol A-free and is available in liquid form.

C - EAGLE (PA 7/45) is modified acrylic copolymer emulsion with excellent water non-whitening resistance, block resistance, dirt pick-up and chemical resistance. Use for wood coatings, decorative paints, industrial coatings,parguet lacquers, metal and plastic top coats. APEO free.

CeraSPERSE 321BG is a compound of waxes and PTFE in Butyl Carbitol (Diethylene glycol monobutyl ether). This slow-evaporating, hydrophilic glycol ether provides improved compatibility with both polar and non-polar systems. Shamrock’s CeraSPERSE products are manufactured using a controlled crystallization process that allows the production of 1 micron wax dispersions. These wax compounds have a translucent appearance with a shiny gloss and a creamy feel. In addition to our standard products, Shamrock can develop and produce a wide range of compounds on a make-to-order basis.

Stainless steel primer is used to promote adhesion to stainless steel and other coated metals. By applying a small amount of GB primer to your product, adhesion improves significantly. Proven to pass scratch, tape, and wash tests.

Bomar BR-202, an aromatic polyether urethane dimethacrylate, finds use in a diverse number of UV coating applications. BR-202 is valued for its strong bond strength, its affinity for glass, steel, and a variety of plastic substrates, and for its excellent elongation. BR-202 is also of value for its low initial color (despite its aromatic nature).

DISPARLON® 4200-10 is a flowable paste of polyolefin wax in xylene consisting of fine particles of 5 μ or less. This thixotropic agent can be post added to prevent pigment settling and hard-caking during storage or during coating application with little effect on viscosity.
