Sasol North America Inc.'s NOVEL 22-25 Ethoxylate is a biodegradable, nonionic surfactant derived from linear, primary ALFOL 22 Alcohol. The NOVEL 22- 25 ethoxylate is made using Sasol North America Inc.'s patented NOVEL catalyst technology. This yields narrow range or peaked ethoxylates that have lower free alcohol, PEG levels, and melting ranges when compared to the traditional base-catalyzed ethoxylates. NOVEL 22-25 Ethoxylate is a white solid that is essentially 100% active and has the following structural formula:
CH3 - (CH2)x - (OCH2CH2)y -OH where x = 21 and y = 25 For documents specific to a region, please contact Sasol using the 'Request Document' button.
