In the presence of a (tin) catalyst these silanes react with hydroxyfunctional silicone polymers; exposure to moisture results in the formation of crosslinked, elastomeric silicones. Bomar BR-374, a medium molecular weight, difunctional, aliphatic polyether urethane acrylate oligomer, is a material offering a balance of toughness and flexibility, with very low color. Formulations with BR-374 yield high clarity films or tie layers with adhesion to a variety of substrates, making it ideal for laminating applications.
