"Since 1975, Boyer Valley Company (BVC) has been processing and distributing pure poultry by-products: Feather Meal, Poultry By-Product Meal, Poultry Blood Meal and Poultry Fat. BVC uses safe, environmentally friendly, and the greenest options to further process poultry by-products into protein meals and fats. The products manufactured by BVC are the base ingredients for the aquaculture, pet food, animal feed, and organic fertilizer industries. Established in 1975, Boyer Valley Company, also known as BVC, processes the by products of multiple poultry facilities. The by products are processed and finished into high protein commodities such as feather meal, poultry by product meal, poultry blood meal and poultry fat. The finished products are sold into pet food and animal feed markets to increase the nutrition and protein content. Our most recent undertaking is a joint venture with Dakota Provisions in Huron SD. This is our newest most up to scale facility within our 3 plants. The foundation of Lauridsen Group Incorporated, also known as LGI, began in 1916 as the Lauridsen Creamery, selling butter, eggs and poultry to the local community. Although LGI is headquartered in Ankeny, Iowa it is not far from the old Creamery in Dedham, Iowa. The Lauridsen Group is a privately held company with more than fifty manufacturing and sales locations in 20 different countries and sales in more than 60 countries. Subsequently, LGI owns 6 sister companies among them being Boyer Valley. LGI is a strong family owned and operated venture that focuses on the quality of their products. It all began with the entrepreneurial spirit of Hans Lauridsen when he immigrated to the United States from Denmark to begin a successful creamery business. Later joined and then led by his son Wally, the company expanded into the meat industry and later meat-related proteins. Wally and his son, Nixon, now chairman of LGI, formed the American Meat Protein Corporation in 1981, the precursor to the Lauridsen Group."

"Kent Nutrition Group (KNG) is the home of the Kent and Blue Seal quality animal nutrition brands. Kent is the brand serving the Midwest, and Blue Seal is the brand of the Eastern U.S., from Maine to Florida. The origin of KNG is grounded in the innovation of Gage Allison Kent of Indianola, Iowa, who in 1927 revolutionized the livestock feeding industry of the time by using only quality ingredients to develop Kent 34% Baby Beef, which was christened “The Feed Without a Filler” and set the tone for the Kent quality nutrition the brand continues today. Meanwhile, in Lawrence, Massachusetts, the H.K. Webster family had been executing on a similar business model of quality animal nutrition since 1868, under the H.K. Webster Company name and its line of Blue Seal quality animal feeds. Both companies flourished, with Kent moving to Muscatine, Iowa in 1936 to take advantage of economical Mississippi River transportation of ingredients and products. Kent and Blue Seal grew their product offerings and expanded their market area as well as market share into the 1980s. In 1988, the holding company of Kent purchased Blue Seal. Both companies functioned successfully as independent entities until 2010, when Kent Nutrition Group, Inc. was formed. KNG combined the prosperous Kent Feeds and Blue Seal Feeds into a single business, focused on serving commercial livestock producers, equine enthusiasts, country lifestyle aficionados, as well as small animal and pet owners. To better execute on its mission to be the most trusted and preeminent regionally focused animal nutrition company in the United States, in 2015 a new brand strategy was implemented at KNG, making Kent the quality animal nutrition brand in the Midwest and Blue Seal the quality animal nutrition brand in the eastern U.S."

"Aloecorp founder and Chairman, the late honorable Yun-Ho Lee, was the first to introduce the amazing Aloe plant to Korea after experiencing its life-changing benefits in helping to fight his own chronic illness. To further his research on the effects of Aloe use, Mr. Lee developed 3 acres of greenhouses in the early 1970s. His research proved to almost single-handedly change the population’s perception and appreciation of high quality, all natural health supplements. In fact, Mr. Lee quickly became Korea’s recognized and celebrated pioneer in the cultivation and growth of Aloe. With unprecedented focus and investment in the research and development of natural medicines, Mr. Lee stood solidly at the helm of the company that soon became Aloecorp. Aloecorp continued to experience a sustained increase in demand for high quality, meticulously grown Aloe which eventually far outgrew the production capacities of Mr. Lee’s domestic farms. To meet this growth, the original Aloecorp farms in Korea were soon complemented by an impressive 520 acres of prime Aloe-producing farmland in the verdant Rio Grande Valley of Texas, USA. With rich, sedimentary soil that produces ultra high quality and large, succulent and abundant Aloe leaves, this exclusive farmland-Hilltop Gardens- is where Aloecorp has revolutionized the commercial production of Aloe and quite literally changed the entire industry. As today’s undisputed leader in bioactive Aloe vera ingredients since 1988, Aloecorp’s extensive and increasing number of farms in Texas, Mexico and China continue to painstakingly grow each premium Aloe vera plant without the use of pesticides, then carefully harvest and gently process the leaves into world-class Aloe ingredients and end products."
