SYNTRAN® AC 4006 is a water-based, cationic acrylic copolymer solution. SYNTRAN® AC 4006 is recommended for stain-blocking paints and primers. It shows excellent performance in blocking wood and cork extractives, nicotine, graffiti, soot and water stains. SYNTRAN® AC 4006 is also recommended for the formulation of coatings with excellent adhesion properties on critical substrates, such as glass, ceramic tiles, zinc, aged alkyd paints, etc. SYNTRAN® AC 4006 is recommended for interior use. The product is also very suitable for use in metal passivation with good adhesion and good compatibility with cationic PUDs and some metal salts or other low-PH ingredients. SYNTRAN® APU 1602 is an acrylic modified aliphatic polyurethane dispersion with excellent abrasion and chemical resistance. The product is used for parquet coatings (that do not require cross-linker addition), industrial wood, floor and plastic coatings and to improve abrasion resistance in combination with other acrylic copolymers. SYNTRAN® APU 1602 offers very good chemical resistance and is highly compatible with other SYNTRAN® acrylic polymers. SYNTRAN AC 6130 is a modified water-based acrylic copolymer that combines two different ionic structures in the same interpenetrating polymer network (IPN).
