SYNTRAN® AC 4005

SYNTRAN® AC 4005 is a water-based cationic acrylic copolymer solution and a softer version of SYNTRAN® AC 4006. It is recommended for metal passivation with good adhesion and good compatibility with cationic PUDs and some metal salts or other low-pH ingredients. SYNTRAN® AC 4005 is also very suitable for use in stain-blocking paints and primers. It shows excellent performance in blocking wood and cork extractives, nicotine, graffiti, soot and water stains. SYNTRAN® AC 4005 is also recommended for the formulation of coatings with excellent adhesion properties on critical substrates such as glass, ceramic tiles, zinc, aged alkyd paints, etc. SYNTRAN® AC 4005 is recommended for interior use. Various starting point formulations (pigmented and clear) based on SYNTRAN® AC 4005 are available on request.
