Packaging & Availability

- Bobbins are individually tack wrapped for protection, improved handling and to allow optimum transfer from bobbin to bobbin. Nominal weight of bobbin is around 17kg. A pallet of size 92cm x 110cm contains 48 bobbins and 110cm x 110cm contains 64 bobbins and stretch wrapped with plastic film for protection.
- Two pallet configurations are available:• Bulk-pack: standard packaging, consists of individual bobbins• Creel-pack: bobbins are connected together for continuous unwinding and no bobbin handling by operators
Storage & Handling
- Storage
Storage vertically in a cool and dry warehouse into the ori-ginal packaging is formally recommanded. More precisely ideal storage conditions are a temperature between 15°C & 35°C and a relative humidity comprised between 35% & 75%. If these conditions are maintained, the glass fiber product should not undergo significant changes when stored for extended periods of time. It is also strongly recommended to condition it in the workshop for at least 24hours before use to prevent condensation. For an optimal processing we recommend to use the product in ambient conditions (20°C-30°C and a relative humidity of 60%-65%).
