Andisil® MS 32 fluid is a trimethylsiloxy-terminated mercaptopropyl methyl dimethyl polysiloxane copolymer used to improve the adhesion to metal and fiber surfaces along with better corrosion inhibiting properties in auto-care products or formulations compared to conventional silicone fluids. The Andisil® MS 32 fluid has been made with a 20:1 ratio of dimethylsiloxy to mercaptopropyl methylsiloxy groups that are randomly pendant along the polymer backbone. The product can also be used as a release agent for rubber and plastic articles. It has utility as an additive in UV and EB curing inks and coatings.

Andisil® 186 Silane is used in a variety of industrial applications. Organofunctional Silanes have an organic functional end group and an alkoxy functional end group which allow the silane to act as a bridge between organic materials and inorganic substrates. The organic functional group is matched to the resin system while the alkoxy group provides the reactive site for crosslinking. These materials are useful as adhesion promoters, crosslinking agents, surface modifiers and hydrophobizing agents.

Andisil® OH 6,000 is a Silanol terminated fluid.Andisil® OH Polymers are a series of silanol functional fluids with various viscosities and silanol contents. They are useful in the treatment of fillers and as Anti-Structuring additives in high consistency silicone rubber and silicone Room Temperature Vulcanizing (RTV) formulations. The low viscosity grades can be used as reactive diluents for high viscosity polymers to adjust the overall viscosity of the formulation. They have excellent stability and can be used with catalytic amounts of ammonium carbonate to treat reinforcing fillers in-situ. Andisil® OH products are pure and do not contain any plasticizers or additives. Curing of the Andisil® OH series can be achieved by all usual condensation crosslinkers (i.e. Alkoxy silanes, oxime silanes, acetoxy silanes) in conjunction with catalysts—the use of dibutyl tin dilaurate or stannous octoate have been found effective as catalysts for these reaction.

Andisil® 142 Silane is an aqueous solution of an aminoalkyl siloxane. This alcohol-free siloxane significantly improves the adhesion and coupling between organic resins and inorganic surfaces. Andisil® 142 Silane silane is most often used in aqueous systems where the alcohol from hydrolysis causes instability of the formulation or where a high flash point additive is required. The product also reduces volatile organic content (VOC) and does not contain hazardous air polluting substances (HAPS). These benefits are particularly useful to manufacturers seeking to reduce emissions from thier water-borne products and processes.
