Staticide® 8696 Urethane Conformal Coating is a super tough coating with excellent chemical resistance. It protects against acidic and alkaline substances, making it an ideal choice for many general applications such as HVAC, fire alarms, relays, generators, motors, transformers, and battery-operated devices. Being ACL's hardest transparent conformal coating, it will not crack, yellow, or discolor over time under normal use. It provides outstanding protection without RoHS or REACH SVHC chemicals.

It protects against acidic and alkaline substances making it an ideal choice for many general applications such as HVAC, fire alarms, relays, generators, motors, transformers, and battery-operated devices.

Directions

Shake well. Apply to clean and dry unmasked areas. Spray top to bottom allowing coating to flow lightly around components. Rotate board 90 degrees and repeat. Open water vessel in drying chamber to accelerate drying.

Cure time: 1.0 mil cures tack free in 30 minutes Heat cures 8 hours at 170°F/76°C Full cure: 24 hours

UV detectable for QC inspection. Following final installation and assembly of new component, area should be lightly re-coated.
