Coatings:
ADD-2021 is particularly suited for solvent-based coatings if foam formation is an issue when applied by spraying or curtain coating.
ADD-2021 is recommended in the following resin systems:
• Polyurethane coatings
• Acid-curable coatings
• Air drying and stoving alkyd paints
In addition ADD-2021 helps to prevent surface irregularities and defects due to its leveling
properties.
Suggested application fields include machinery paints, industrial and transportation coatings.
ADD-2021 should be added at the end of the manufacture of the batch.
0.5-2.0% on total formulation weight
Printing Inks:
ADD-2021 reduces the accumulation of foam in the ink pan or reservoir during the printing
process. It improves leveling and reduces surface irregularities.
ADD-2021 may be used in screen, gravure and flexographic printing. It is also suitable for UV curable
formulations.
ADD-2021 should be added at the end of the manufacture of the batch. Care should be taken to
ensure uniform distribution.

ADD-2021 should be stored in a cool dry place. When kept in an original unopened container, it will keep up to 5 years from the date of manufacture. ADD-2021 should be handled in accordance with good industrial practice. Detailed information can be found in the Safety Data Sheet
