Coatings:
ADD-3035 reduces surface tension and therefore provides better substrate wetting. At the same time surface slip
and mar-resistance are increased and anti-blocking properties are improved. Formation of Bénard cells is
avoided, and leveling and gloss are improved.
ADD-3035 is hydrolysis resistant and offers better compatibility in comparison to normal dimethylpolysiloxanes
particularly in polar systems. It helps to prevent curtain-rupture in curtain coating applications.
ADD-3035 can be used in water- and solvent-based coatings.
ADD-3035 can be added at any stage of manufacture as long as sufficient shear forces are applied to ensure
uniform distribution of the additive. When added during the dispersion process, it speeds up wetting.

Storage & Handling

ADD-3035 should be stored in a cool dry place. When kept in an original unopened container, it will keep up to 5
years from the date of manufacture. ADD-3035 should be handled in accordance with good industrial practice.
