ADD-6622 in combination with ADD-4590 is suitable for the formulation of universal colorants for decorative
Paints.
When using universal colorants in decorative paints, the addition of ADD-6622 to the base paints (water and solvent) can increase compatibility and color acceptance.
ADD-6622 is an activator for Bentonites as well as for associated and acrylic thickeners.
ADD-6622 can be added at any stage during the production process. Calculation method for the required amount of active ingredient on pigments:
Universal colorants: 5 - 10% for inorganic pigments
10 - 20% for organic pigments
Base-paints: 0.5 - 1.5% on total base-paints
Bentonites/thickeners: 15 - 25% on active substance

ADD-6622 should be stored in a cool dry place. When kept in an original unopened container, it will keep up to 5 years from the date of manufacture. ADD-6622 should be handled in accordance with good industrial practice. Detailed information can be found in the Safety Data Sheet
