ADD-3031 is a silicone surface additive to provide good substrate wetting of critical substrates and excellent anti-cratering by reduction of surface tension of the coating systems. It also improves surface slip, scratch resistance and anti-blocking properties. ADD-3031 is a heat resistant silicone additive, which shows no thermal decomposition at temperatures between 150°C and 230°C. Due to its low surface tension, it prevents floating of pigments, Bénard cells and pinholing. It is suitable for coatings and printing inks.

ADD-3236 is a silicone surface additive with defoaming properties to improve the surface properties of coatings, with particular emphasis upon leveling, it increases surface slip and thus improves scratch and mar- resistance. ADD-3236 is a heat resistant due to the alkyl-modification, which shows no thermal decomposition at high temperatures in baking systems such as coil coatings (up to 280°C for 15 minutes).

ADD-4009 is a multi-purpose high molecular weight wetting and dispersing additive for solvent-based coatings. It prevents reflocculation of pigments through steric hindrance and therefore stabilizes the color strength and hue of pigments in paints and pigment concentrates. Due to its particularly good combination of price and performance, ADD-4009 is a very attractive substitute for conventional wetting and dispersing agents.

ADD-6212 is a wetting and dispersing additive for solvent-based and solvent-free coatings to improve pigment wetting, reduce the grinding time and stabilize the pigment dispersion. ADD-6212 is suitable for stabilizing inorganic pigments and extenders and strongly reduces mill-base viscosity. ADD-6212 is suitable for coatings and composite.

ADD-3231 is a silicone-based surface additive to improve surface properties in all solvent-based medium- to high-polar systems. It is specially used in systems in which solvent-free additives are requested or where a requirement for a special solvent exists. ADD-3231 can be used in coatings and printing inks.

ADD-3033 is a cost-effective silicone surface additive to provide good substrate wetting of critical substrates and excellent anti-cratering by reduction of surface tension of the coating systems. It also improves surface slip, scratch resistance and anti-blocking properties. ADD-3033 improves dust and spray dust acceptance and allows higher film thickness on vertical surfaces. It reduces air draft sensitivity particularly in wood coatings. ADD-3033 prevents formation of Bénard cells and improves flatting agent orientation. It is suitable for coatings and printing inks.

ADD-2022 is a silicone-based defoamer for solvent-based and solvent-free coating systems to prevent foam and bubble formation during paint production, filling and application. ADD-2022 can be used in coatings and printing inks.

ADD-3239 is a silicone-based leveling additive with defoaming properties. It improves the surface properties of solventbased and solvent-free coatings with particular emphasis upon leveling. With a slight influence on surface tension, ADD-3239 can impart defoaming properties to the system. It is soluble in aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, esters and ketones but insoluble in water. Sometimes it is necessary to dilute this 100% active material with a compatible solvent to improve its compatibility in a particular system. ADD-3239 is suitable for coatings and composite.

ADD-2020 is a silicone-free defoamer for solvent-based coatings, solvent-based printing inks and composite to prevent foam formation during production, filling and application. ADD-2020 displays spontaneous defoaming properties and demonstrates no negative influence on inter-coat adhesion when overcoated. Due to its strong incompatibility (better defoaming properties), the influence upon the transparency of clear systems and upon cratering must be evaluated. When used in the ink industry, it reduces the accumulation of foam in the ink pan or reservoir during the printing process.
