Coatings:
ADD-2022 prevents the formation of foam and blisters during the manufacturing and application of solvent-based and solvent-free coatings.
It is particularly suited for curtain coating and recommended in the following resin systems:
• Two-pack systems based on polyurethane and epoxy resins. It is especially suited for polyurethane-based curtain coating finishes
• Stoving enamels based on alkyd resins or saturated polyesters
• Air drying industrial coatings based on medium-oil alkyd resins
• Thermoplastic acrylics
Suggested application fields include machinery paints, radiator paints, industrial and transportation coatings, and wood finishes.
ADD-2022 can be incorporated prior to processing. If it is added subsequently, good distribution must be insured.

Printing Inks:
ADD-2022 prevents the entrapment of air during processing steps such as dispersion & pumping. It reduces the accumulation of foam in the ink pan or reservoir during the printing process.
ADD-2022 has been developed for solvent-based formulations. It can be used in solvent-based pigment bases and printing inks and is particularly effective in nitrocellulose-based systems (gravure and flexographic printing inks).
ADD-2022 can be added in the premix stage prior to dispersion. If added post manufacture or press-side, care should be taken to ensure uniform distribution.

Storage & Handling
- STORAGE, SAFETY & HANDLING
ADD-2022 should be stored in a cool dry place. When kept in an original unopened container, it will keep up to 5 years from the date of manufacture. ADD-2022 should be handled in accordance with good industrial practice. Detailed information can be found in the Safety Data Sheet.
