Addiplast Group is a french compounder which has such a great performance in compounds & colored masterbatches on a global scale, and combines flexible production technologies with expert R&D capabilities to deliver innovative compounds for global clients. With a dedicated and well-equipped R&D center and two complementary compounding technologies, we are able to take on the most demanding compound development and production projects.
Established in 1986, the family-owned firm today operates 2 production sites in Saint Pal de Mons, south of Lyon in France, with a combined capacity of around 30,000 tons/yr. The Addiplast site is equipped with twin screw compounding extruders; the Addikem facility operates Buss co-kneaders. Both are IATF 16949 & ISO 14001 certified. The group recently acquired a coloring unit from Toyo Ink Europe Specialty Chemicals renamed Addicolor close to Paris in France, which enabled it to acquire a new know-how: the formulation and production of colored masterbatches and films. All sites are supported by the company’s Addiscience research and development center, which produces around 350 new formulations each year. It is equipped with an extensive range of polymer characterization equipment and the same production extrusion technologies as the manufacturing locations, allowing new formulations to be scaled up to industrial production quickly and efficiently.
Colored compounds and colored masterbatches, flame retardant compounds, mineral-filled and glass reinforced formulations, natural fibers and fillers, and biocides are all part of the company’s know-how. The product portfolio includes the Addibio RenewⓇ range for sustainable and renewable products, AdditecⓇ for semi-conductive and ESD compounds, AddiflamⓇ for flame retardant compounds, AddinylⓇ for polyamide and AddileneⓇ for polyolefin compounds, as well as the AddibatchⓇ masterbatches for polyolefins & Addiperf masterbatches for engineering plastics.
