- RM-T177 acts by different concepts of inducing shear-thinning to an emulsion, it brings fibers, self-assembling polymers and swollen particles. The higher the temperature during the hot process, the better the efficiency; shear can be brought by conventional dispersing equipment and rotor-stator type as well; for rotor-stator, the high shear mixing time should be minimized.
- The starch is activated in the water phase together with the humectants; oil in water emulsions can be obtained via a phase inversion process or just pouring the oil phase in the water phase both at the same high temperature.
- The level of use will depend on the type of emollients, and the addition of ingredients like fatty alkohols or fatty acids. Perfect textures can be reached at concentrations below 1% w/w in fully formulated products. RM-T177 shows very good compatibility with both anionic and non-ionic surfactants.

Product should be stored free of odorous material and in a cool, dry location. Shelf life is guaranteed 2 years when stored in recommended storage conditions not to exceed 25°C for extended periods of time. Close after opening.
