Elastomers & Rubbers, Metal, Plastics
Synonyms:
Fluon, Perfluoroethylene polymer, Poly(ethylene tetrafluoride), Polyperfluoroethylene, Polytetrafluoroethene, Polytetrafluoroethylene, PTFE, Teflon, Tetrafluoroethene homopolymer, Tetrafluoroethene polymer, Tetrafluoroethylene homopolymer, Tetrafluoroethylene polymer, Tetrafluoroethylene resin
AGC Chemicals Americas, Inc. Fluon+™ FL1710Z is a white finely divided PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) micropowder which is easy to disperse in a wide range of liquids. FL1710Z is particularly suitable for use in surface coatings, metal decorating inks, low viscosity lubricating oils and is readily dispersed in liquids using either high or low shear mixing. This combination of properties makes FL 1710Z very useful in coating formulations and makes it suitable for use in food contact applications.
Fluon+™ FL1650Z
Chemical Family:
Fluoropolymers
Functions:
Lubricant (External), Lubricant (Internal)
Labeling Claims:
Food Contact Acceptable
End Uses:
Industrial Parts
Synonyms:
Fluon, Perfluoroethylene polymer, Poly(ethylene tetrafluoride), Polyperfluoroethylene, Polytetrafluoroethene, Polytetrafluoroethylene, PTFE, Teflon, Tetrafluoroethene homopolymer, Tetrafluoroethene polymer, Tetrafluoroethylene homopolymer, Tetrafluoroethylene polymer, Tetrafluoroethylene resin
AGC Chemicals Americas, Inc. Fluon+™ FL1650Z is a finely milled PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene). It is especially suitable for thermoplastic applications. This micropowder may also be used for compounding in rubber and thermoset products. The rounded particle shape and intermediate hardness permit mixing without further breakdown and without large increases in viscosity. This product is FDA compliant for food contact applications. FL1650Z also features a low volatile content which may have value in specialized applications.
Fluon+™ FL-1700Z
Functions:
Lubricant (Internal), Lubricant (External), Solid Lubricant
Chemical Family:
Fluoropolymers
Labeling Claims:
Food Contact Acceptable
Compatible Substrates & Surfaces:
Plastics, Elastomers & Rubbers
Synonyms:
Fluon, Perfluoroethylene polymer, Poly(ethylene tetrafluoride), Polyperfluoroethylene, Polytetrafluoroethene, Polytetrafluoroethylene, PTFE, Teflon, Tetrafluoroethene homopolymer, Tetrafluoroethene polymer, Tetrafluoroethylene homopolymer, Tetrafluoroethylene polymer, Tetrafluoroethylene resin
AGC Chemicals Americas, Inc. Fluon+™ FL-1700Z is a white PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) micro-powder that is suitable as an economical and general-purpose dry lubricant in rubber and plastics compounding, and grease applications. This product is suitable for use in food contact applications. The particles are coarse and friable and some size reduction of the larger particles will occur during compounding.
Fluon+™ TL-368
Chemical Family:
Fluoropolymers
Functions:
Lubricant (Internal), Lubricant (External), Binder & Resin
Labeling Claims:
Food Contact Acceptable
Features:
Improved Hardness, Food Contact Acceptable, High Viscosity
Synonyms:
Fluon, Perfluoroethylene polymer, Poly(ethylene tetrafluoride), Polyperfluoroethylene, Polytetrafluoroethene, Polytetrafluoroethylene, PTFE, Teflon, Tetrafluoroethene homopolymer, Tetrafluoroethene polymer, Tetrafluoroethylene homopolymer, Tetrafluoroethylene polymer, Tetrafluoroethylene resin
AGC Chemicals Americas, Inc. Fluon+™ TL-368 is a white PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) micro-powder that is suitable for compounding in rubber and plastics. The particles of this product are of intermediate hardness, permitting mixing without further breakdown. The slight fibrous nature of Fluon+™ TL-368 will give greater viscosity in fluids. This product is suitable for use in food contact applications.
Fluon+™ FL1690Z
Chemical Family:
Fluoropolymers
Functions:
Lubricant (External), Lubricant (Internal)
Labeling Claims:
Food Contact Acceptable
End Uses:
Industrial Parts
Synonyms:
Fluon, Perfluoroethylene polymer, Poly(ethylene tetrafluoride), Polyperfluoroethylene, Polytetrafluoroethene, Polytetrafluoroethylene, PTFE, Teflon, Tetrafluoroethene homopolymer, Tetrafluoroethene polymer, Tetrafluoroethylene homopolymer, Tetrafluoroethylene polymer, Tetrafluoroethylene resin
AGC Chemicals Americas, Inc. Fluon+™ FL1690Z is a white PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) micro powder. It is a lubricant milled to a very fine powder while retaining excellent lubricity properties.
