Sunflower Expeller (Animal Feed) is obtained exclusively by mechanical pressing methods from sunflower grains (Helianthus annus L.).During this process no organic solvent is used (hexane free), which results in a product with a higher content of fat matter (expeller) (compared to conventional sunflower pellets) that provides a plus of energy for animal nutrition.Our sunflower expeller has the same typical protein, fiber and ash values as conventional sunflower pellets.By having a lower moisture content, it means a net savings when used in formulated foods.Our sunflower expeller, due to its high content of fat, has greater acceptability and greater palatability for livestock.
