Asahi Kasei Tuftec™ H1521 is particularly designed as a modifier to increase flexibility of polypropylene (PP). Its excellent compatibility makes H1521 super-finely dispersed into PP. PP and H1521 blends provides transparent and flexible extruded products such as sheets, films and tubes. The blends are also applicable to injection molding due to its high MFR. It has excellent adhesion, which is suitable for the use of adhesive layer of protective films with hot-melt and pressure sensitive characteristics. H1521 meets USP Class Ⅵ standards. It may be used for medical applications after a special agreement with Asahi Kasei.
