Started in León City, Nicaragua in 2012. We are now the first and only food grade cassava starch company in Central America. Our factory has the capacity to produce 15,000 tons of high quality food grade starch yearly as well as industrial use starch, fresh cassava, paraffined cassava and fiber for animal feed. Due to our countries weather and healthy soil, ALCASA’S farms can sow and harvest 3,500 Hectares of cassava year around. (All our products are Gluten free and non GM . Thanks to our investments and the use of the latest technology, we obtained Primus GFS, BPA, BPM, HACCP and Global GAP certifications, which allows us to offer a high quality product and also meets international standards.
