ALDOCOAT 395 is a one-part silicone elastomeric coating specifically designed for use in low slope roofing applications. Once cured this liquid applied silicone coating provides a durable, seamless, flexible, waterproof membrane that resists lateral movement, shear and will allow for normal expansion and contraction. It provides greater UV protection than similar silicone coatings and offers increased resistance to moisture penetration. It provides excellent long term protection through exceptional weatherability properties.

Uses
  • ALDOCOAT 395 was specifically developed as a protective coating for EPDM, TPO, PVC single ply membranes, smooth BUR, granulated modified bitumen and sprayed-in-place polyurethane foam roofing.
  • ALDOCOAT 395 is also used as a top coat over ALDOCOAT 384BR.
  • Polyurethane in the FM approved low slope system. With excellent adhesion to all substrates and exceptional durability, ALDOCOAT 395 is proven to provide excellent solar reflectivity, UV protection and long term waterproofing performance.
Application Instructions
  • ALDOCOAT 395 may be applied by medium nap rollers, soft brushes or conventional airless spray equipment.
  • Apply ALDOCOAT 395 only to clean, dry, sound surfaces free of loose particles or other foreign matter. For best results, ambient temperature should be between 50 - 80 °F. Higher temperatures will shorten the cure time and working time for proper application of granules before the material has skinned. Lower temperatures will lengthen the skin over, tack free and ultimate cure time. Sudden temperature declines may also result in dew formation on surfaces, which can prevent adhesion development.
  • For best results, relative humidity should be above 20%. Lower humidity will slow the cure time significantly.
  • Apply ALDOCOAT 395 at the rate of 1.5 gallons per 100 sq.ft. per coat.
  • Minimum dry mil thickness shall be above 25mils.
