About Us

Founded in 1980 and headquartered in Salisbury, NC, Aldo manufactures a comprehensive line of roof coatings including silicone, polyurethane and acrylic coatings for restoration of virtually all commercial roof systems. Aldo works closely with contractors, facility managers and consultants to make sure that restoration projects employing Aldo products result in lasting solutions. Roof restoration with Aldo roof coatings can save 50-70% compared to roof replacement in addition to providing numerous sustainability and operational benefits. Our silicone, polyurethane and acrylic coatings, extend the life of the roof for at least 10 years with the possibility of a renewal application. Products are manufactured using “Just in Time” production methods supporting quality, freshness and ease of application.

ALDOSEAL 385

ALDOSEAL 385 is a technologically advanced, high solids, single component moisture cure polyurethane elastomeric sealant. In addition, it is a brush grade sealant and an excellent all-purpose sealer to address roof leaks on most roofing substrates. It is produced in an aluminum gray color that allows for faster cure times than white sealants. ALDOSEAL 385 provides greater protection against leaks and water penetration than most sealants due to its tenacious adhesive properties, higher tensile strength and low vapor permeability values and offers a wider window of application than water based acrylic sealants.

ALDOSEAL 399 is a high solid, low VOC, one-part silicone elastomeric flashing grade specifically designed for use in sealing roof penetrations, curbs, seams, flashing areas and any other roof top areas of possible water infiltration. It is also the sealant of choice for any roof system that has been previously coated with a silicone elastomeric coating. Once applied, this silicone flashing grade provides a durable, seamless and flexible system that resists lateral movement, shear and will allow for normal expansion and contraction. ALDOSEAL 399 provides greater waterproofing protection than similar flashing grade silicone sealants and offers increased resistance to moisture penetration.

ALDOCOAT 395 is a one-part silicone elastomeric coating specifically designed for use in low slope roofing applications. Once cured this liquid applied silicone coating provides a durable, seamless, flexible, waterproof membrane that resists lateral movement, shear and will allow for normal expansion and contraction. It provides greater UV protection than similar silicone coatings and offers increased resistance to moisture penetration. It provides excellent long term protection through exceptional weatherability properties.

ALDOSEAL 747 is a single component vapor retarder thermoplastic seam sealer specially formulated to provide a waterproof, weather resistant membrane with excellent permeability and ultraviolet protection. It offers good elongation and tensile strength to resist lateral movement and allow for expansion and contraction of the substrate.

ALDOPRIME 710 is a water based rust inhibiting environmentally friendly roofing primer developed to be used on corroded metal substrates. This product can be applied as a primer coat for a variety of roof coatings. It has excellent resistance to heat, cold, moisture and weathering. This primer also sets up quickly to allow the base coat of the desired elastomeric to be applied soon after application.

ALDOCOAT 730 is a specially formulated acrylic latex elastomeric coating to provide a clear waterproof, weather resistant, color stable membrane for the protection and renovation of skylights and other like surfaces. ALDOCOAT 730 will cure as a clear coating and moderately hard to repel extremes in weather and contaminates from pollution.

ALDOPRIME 624 is a fast drying rust inhibiting primer designed also as a tie coat for dusty or porous surfaces to improve adhesion of the base coat products. It has been formulated to have exceptional adhesion to a diversity of substrates and penetrates into the surface and provides good anchorage for base coat product in addition to inhibiting rust on oxidized surfaces. Once the finish coat has been applied, ALDOPRIME 624 enhances the properties of topcoat and provides increased resistance to mechanical damage and chemical attack.

ALDOCOAT 400 is a high solids, technologically advanced, fire retardant, thixotropic, 100% acrylic elastomer uniquely formulated for the protection of metal, SPF and a wide variety of other sloped substrates. The proprietary formulation incorporates premium elastomeric acrylic resins, reinforcing laminar pigments and nonmigrating fire retardants to produce a seamless, flexible, durable membrane having exceptional weatherability, ultraviolet and fire resistance. It acts as a breathing membrane allowing trapped moisture vapor to pass through the film while remaining impervious to exterior mass water penetration. The resultant tough, cured film provides good resistance to mechanical damage and chemical attack.
