EBECRYL® 767 is an acid-functionalized acrylic resin diluted with 38% isobornyl acrylate (IBOA) monomer. This light-colored, moderately viscous resin is designed as an adhesion-promoting additive and can also serve as a primer or top coat. It functions as a coupling agent and oligomer, contributing to improved adhesion. The resin comes with labeling claims of being low in carbon footprint (PCF), bisphenol A-free, solvent-free, and VOC-free. It offers features like faster cycle time, long pot life, low energy consumption, and low-temperature curing.

Formulated UV/EB curable products containing EBECRYL® 767 may be applied viadirect or reverse roll, offset gravure, metering rod, slot die, knife over roll, airknife, curtain and immersion coating methods, as well as screen printing.

EBECRYL® 767 is recommended for:
  • Silk screen inks
  • Coatings on plastics and metals
  • Adhesives, coatings, inks and primers for difficult substrates such as untreated polyesters, polypropylene, polystyrene, vacuum metallizedsurfaces, etc.
  • Improving intercoat adhesion.
