Foamine C is cationic in nature and exerts some emulsification effects in given formulations. It has a tendency to assist in product stability and will yield some lubricity when incorporated into hair formulations.

Foamine C can be used as an intermediate for Betaine Amphoterics and Amine Oxides. When reacted with organic or inorganic acids, it forms excellent cationic conditions which are extremely substantive to the skin and hair and aids in giving improved combability.
