When manufacturing was a backbone industry of the United States of America, Howard Armington, a chemist by trade, founded Armite Lubricants in 1928. Mr. Armington seized the opportunity to formulate products that enhanced the productivity of that time. Today, Armite continues to manufacture top-quality industrial lubricants and anti-seize compounds and is a Woman-Owned Small Business.

Reaching great success in its early years, Armite established an impressive product line with a continuous focus on high-quality ingredients that meet and exceed the many applications of commercial-grade, industrial grade, and military-grade lubricants, anti-seize compounds, corrosion inhibitors, sealants, rust penetrants as well as other specialty compounds. The company was eventually passed down to Mr. Armington’s son and then his granddaughter, preserving the family legacy.

When Josh Walker took over the company in 1998, he not only maintained the family values that Armite was built on, he also took the company to new heights. Mr. Walker moved Armite’s headquarters from Los Angeles to Costa Mesa, California. After years of growth, Armite completed the expansion of its facility through the addition of an on-site test laboratory."

12|34® Formula was originally developed to protect materials in storage and to reclaim materials damaged by weather and/or saltwater exposure. Much of this work was done for the Navy and general aviation for corrosion prevention and rust removal. Rust has been called the Navy’s second most formidable enemy. 12|34® Formula has been enlisted in corrosion control and rust removal in multiple shipboard and shore installation applications for the Navy. In general aviation, light aluminum sections and component parts have been similarly protected by 12|34® Formula’s ability to stop corrosive oxidation. So successful was the product in these fields, that expanding 12|34® Formula into countless other industrial applications was inevitable. Treating with 12|34® Formula before storage can reduce handling costs and maintenance until the materials are ready for processing.

With Armite No. 609 on your equipment, you will be assured of easy disassembly, saving you costly down time and maintenance expenses. Armite No. 609 is a must when assembling engines, transmissions, manifolds, and all internal components.

Armite Lubricants ZP-770 is an anti-seize compound formulated from zinc powder, specialty oils, and grease for use on aluminum fasteners. ZP-770 is especially effective when fasteners are associated with iron components. ZP-770 helps reduce repair times when applied at every service interval. It is an excellent anti-seize in harsh environments.

Armite Lubricants A-A-59313 can be used as a lubricant, a sealer, and a tapping compound on plastic as well as metals. The surface need not be cleaned before application unless grit or low quality oil/grease is present. This product reduces assembly friction and increases torque tension by approx. 20%. Use on threaded parts, bushings, gears, valve stems, chain sprockets, levers, hinges, pivots, rollers, heat exchangers, or manifold bolts, or as a gasket release agent. This zinc based anti-seize thread compound is generally used to prevent seizing during assembly and disassembly of threaded or unthreaded aluminum and aluminum alloy components. It also provides protection to metal surfaces.

Armite Lubricants AASC-M-2 is a mica based anti-seize compound designed for use on the threads of automotive engine spark plugs and in other applications involving high temperatures. This anti-seize compound, being a non-conductor of electricity and possessing high heat resistance, is particularly suitable for spark plugs. However, because of its insulating properties, it should not be used where mating parts are required to be in good electrical contact.

Armite Lubricants MIL-PRF-83483 has excellent lubricity and high load capacity, is particularly suitable for use on aircraft spark plugs and threaded fasteners and fittings at temperatures below 800°F.

Armite Lubricants SAE-AMS-2518 contains graphite which may promote corrosion of aluminum, magnesium,ferrous, zinc, and cadmium alloys or plated coatings. It should not be used with such metals. This compound has been used as an anti-seize compound on aircraft engine spark plugs and threaded fasteners and fittings, but its usage is not limited to these applications. This compound may be used safely in contact with austenitic corrosion-resistant steels, titanium, nickel, and cobalt alloys, and similar corrosionresistant metals and alloys.

Armite Lubricants VV-P-236 is a light-grade lubricating grease of superior pharmaceutical-grade quality. However, it is not recommended for use as a lubricant in heavily loaded or hot running bearings.
