Bardac® 2280 Antimicrobial contains the active substance Didecyldimethyl- ammonium chloride (DDAC). The active is a cationic molecule offering good surfactant properties and can be formulated together with non- ionic and/or amphoteric surfactants. DDAC has antimicrobial efficacy against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, yeast, algae and enveloped viruses. High antimicrobial efficacy is maintained even at low temperatures and in the presence of organic soil, such as blood and protein. In formulated products, DDAC is stable over a wide range of pH levels and can be used in a number of applications such as food processing, institutional, veterinary, healthcare areas, home care, product preservation and laundry sanitisers. This “fourth” generation quaternary ammonium compound shows excellent tolerance to hard water and different pH levels.

Barquat® MB-80 Antimicrobial contains the active substance C12-C16 Alkyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride (ADBAC). The active is a cationic molecule offering good surfactant properties and can be formulated together with non-ionic and/or amphoteric surfactants. This “first” generation quaternary ammonium compound has antimicrobial efficacy against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, yeast, and enveloped viruses.

Barquat® MS-100 Special Antimicrobials contain the active substance C12-14 Alkyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride (ADBAC). The active substance is a cationic molecule offering good surfactant properties and can be formulated together with nonionic- and/or amphoteric surfactants. ADBAC has a broad antimicrobial efficacy against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, yeast, and enveloped viruses. High antimicrobial efficacy is maintained across a broad pH-range and ADBAC is stable in formulations with a wide range of pH levels. ADBAC’s are used in a number of applications such as food processing, institutional, veterinary, healthcare areas, and medical device disinfectants. Barquat® MS-100 is a powder ADBAC and of high interest for solid products like granules, tablets or powder formulations.

VANTOCIL™ IB Antimicrobial is a broad spectrum, fast acting bactericide for the formulation of disinfectants and sanitisers. This product is a 20% aqueous solution of poly (hexamethylene biguanide) hydrochloride (PHMB). VANTOCIL™ IB Antimicrobial is produced for use in industrial, institutional, agricultural, food, beverage, and domestic disinfection applications, primarily as a solid surface disinfectant, specifically for hospitals, veterinary establishments, dairies, milking parlors, breweries, air-conditioning units, and pasteurizers in canned food & beverage bottling plants.

Proxel® GL 20 Preservative is a broad spectrum biocide for the preservation of water-based products against spoilage from bacteria, yeasts and fungi. It is an effective preservative against growth of microbial agents in the aqueous systems and exhibits effective control of a wide range of organisms at economic concentrations with long-term storage stability, wide usage pH range, thermal stability, and compatibility with Anionic, Cationic and nonionic formulations.

VANTOCIL™ TG Antimicrobial is a broad spectrum, fast acting bactericide for the formulation of disinfectants and sanitisers. It is a 20% aqueous solution of poly(hexamethylenebiguanide) hydrochloride, also known as PHMB. VANTOCIL™ TG Antimicrobial is used in industrial, institutional, agricultural, food, beverage and domestic disinfection applications, primarily as a solid surface disinfectant, specifically for hospitals, veterinary establishments, dairies, milking parlors, breweries, air-conditioning units, and pasteurizers in canned food & beverage bottling plants.

Lgard® BKC cGMP antimicrobial is a flexible quaternary ammonium-based compound used as a hand care antimicrobial active ingredient as well as a personal care or pharmaceutical preservative. Lgard BKC cGMP antimicrobial is produced under cGMP conditions to meet API standards; it is also acceptable worldwide. Lgard BKC cGMP antimicrobial offers extensive efficacy, mildness, and safety.

PROXEL® XL2 Antimicrobial is a broad spectrum biocide for the preservation of industrial water-based products against spoilage from bacteria, yeasts and fungi. It is a 10% aqueous propylene glycol solution of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one.

Proxel® MB4 Preservative is a solvent-free, zero VOC, broad spectrum preservative for the protection of industrial water-based products against spoilage from bacteria, yeasts and fungi. It is a dual active blend of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one (BIT) and 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (MIT) that has been specially formulated. The actual labeling requirements for the formulated product should however be discussed with your local Lonza representative.

Proxel® BD20 Antimicrobial is a broad spectrum biocide for the preservation of industrial water-based products against spoilage from bacteria, yeasts and fungi. It is a 20% aqueous dispersion of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one. Proxel® BD20 Antimicrobial is effective in a wide range of industrial aqueous-based products such as emulsion paints, water-based adhesives, household products, printing inks, paper coating compositions, metal working fluids, and agricultural pesticide dispersions. This product should be added to the system as early in the process as possible.
