Kolliphor® grades are used in oral, topical, and parenteral dosage forms, these excipients simplify the formulation process by exerting their versatile functionalities. The Kolliphor® family of solubilizers, emulsifiers, co-emulsifiers, and surfactants are ideal for addressing solubilization challenges to inhibit crystallization and enhance drug bioavailability.

Kollidon® grades are processed via melt granulation, spray drying, and HME, these materials are suitable for a variety of formulations. Whether the target formulation is a tablet or transdermal patch, the Kollidon® family of multifunctional excipients is ready to resolve any formulation challenge. Kollidon® excipients come in various grades, giving you the flexibility to tailor your formulation based on your individual needs.

Kollicoat® polymers can also be used for taste masking to improve patient compliance. While these excipients are predominantly used for oral applications, coating polymers can also be utilized for the development of topical films and transdermal patches as film and matrix formers, respectively. The Kollicoat® family of coating polymers consists of a broad range of chemistries to address various film coating challenges.

Kollisolv® composed of both hydrophilic and lipophilic excipients, the Kollisolv® portfolio of excipients is focused on addressing API solubility challenges. Available in liquids, semi-solids, and solids, these solubilizers and solvents are primarily used for oral and topical applications.

All Ibuprofen grades are supplied as white or almost white crystalline powder or colorless crystals with a characteristic odor.

Kollicream® grades are either comprised of esters of fatty acids (3 C, CP 15, DO, IPM), or of natural (OA), as well as naturally derived (OD) long-chain alcohols. Except for CP 15, which is provided in the form of waxy pellets, all other members of the Kollicream® family, as well as Kollisolv® MCT 70, are transparent, colorless liquids at room tempreature. The raw material base is coconut oil, and/or palm kernel oil.

Novata® is the best option for suppository masses or solid compositions, these materials can also be used to modify the emollient or sensory properties of topical semi-solid formulations. The Novata® family of hard fats are lipophilic excipients derived from sustainably sourced palm kernel oil.
