Lutensol® TO 8 is a high-performance nonionic surfactant with approximately 100% active content. It is derived from a saturated iso-C13 alcohol and contains 8 moles of ethylene oxide. This surfactant exhibits low toxicity and offers excellent emulsification, dispersion, wetting, and compatibilizing properties.

Lutensol® AO 11 is a nonionic surfactant that is approximately 100% active. It is derived from C13C15 oxo alcohol with 11 moles of ethylene oxide, consisting of approximately 67% C13 and 33% C15. This high-performance surfactant exhibits low toxicity and offers excellent emulsification, dispersion, wetting, and compatibilizing properties.

Plurafac® D 250 is a non-ionic emulsifier that is suitable for oily soils, with a cloud point of 59°C and moderate foaming properties. It belongs to the EO/PO alcohol surfactant category and functions as a good non-ionic emulsifier for oily soils.

Plurafac® LF 500 is a low-foaming nonionic surfactant that provides excellent foam control for Glucopon® surfactant and Deriphat® 160 C. It is mainly used for its wetting, low-foaming, or even defoaming properties. Plurafac® LF 500 finds applications in various industries, such as food and beverage processing, food service and kitchen hygiene, commercial laundry, institutional cleaning and sanitation, and industrial cleaning.

Plurafac® SL 62 is a moderately low-foaming surfactant with a cloud point of 62°C. It is suitable for high-temperature cleaning applications above 60°C, especially in food and beverage processing and industrial cleaning, offering cleaning with low foam as a significant benefit.

Lutensol® XP 79 is capable of producing very high initial foam, making it ideal for institutional cleaning and sanitation. It is available in both 85% active product and 85% aqueous solution forms. In solid form, it is slightly yellow, while in liquid form, it is slightly pasty. The product contains no preservatives and is recommended for use with Glucopon® surfactants to synergistically reduce skin irritation in food service and kitchen hygiene applications.

Pluronic® L 31 is a difunctional block copolymer surfactant that terminates in primary hydroxyl groups. It is a nonionic surfactant that is 100% active and relatively nontoxic. Pluronic® L 31 is known for its excellent water-in-oil (w/o) emulsification and defoaming properties, making it a valuable ingredient in various formulations.

Lutensol® TDA 8 is an ethoxylated tridecyl alcohol POE (8). Lutensol® AO 5 is a nonionic surfactant, approximately 100% active, that is based on C13C15 oxo alcohol with 5 moles of ethylene oxide and consists of ca. 67% C13 and ca. 33% C15. It is a high-performance surfactant with low toxicity. Lutensol® AO 5 offers great emulsification, dispersion, wetting, and compatibilizing properties.

Pluronic® 10R5 is a highly versatile difunctional block copolymer surfactant with terminal secondary hydroxyl groups. As a nonionic surfactant, it offers a wide range of functionalities and benefits in various applications. Pluronic® L 121 is a specialized ethylene oxide and propylene oxide copolymer with a low hydrophilic-lipophilic balance (HLB). It is a medium-molecular-weight emulsifier with a 10% ethylene oxide content, 100% active composition, and a molecular weight of 4400. Pluronic® L 121 is particularly suitable for formulating low-foaming water-in-oil (w/o) emulsions. It provides excellent emulsion stability and wetting properties.

Tetronic® 1301 is a tetrafunctional block copolymer surfactant terminating in the primary groups. A nonionic surfactant that is 100% active and relatively nontoxic. It provides great emulsification, wetting, and defoaming properties. Tetronic® 1301 is used for the following formulation types: emulsifier concentrates, microemulsions, suspension concentrates, suspo-emulsions, soluble liquids, wettable powders, and oil dispersions.

Pluronic® 25R2 is a 100% active product suitable for use in low-temperature commercial dishwashing machines. It provides good defoaming and wetting properties and is heavily used in the industry as a rinse aid for low-temperature commercial dish machines. It is also suitable for machine floor cleaning as a foam controlling agent.

Lutensol® XP 90 is a 100% active nonionic surfactant that enhances the wetting and degreasing power of foam cleaners. With its fast dynamics and excellent detergency on oily soils, it finds application in various fields, including dishwashing, laundry, hard surface cleaning, food and beverage processing, food service and kitchen hygiene, commercial and institutional laundry, and industrial cleaning.

Lutensol® XL 50 is a 100% active product with a comparatively lower level of residual alcohol than regular alcohol ethoxylates with the same degree of ethoxylation. It is suitable for use as a foam control and degreasing agent in machine floor cleaning.

Lutensol® XL 80 is a 100% active product. It has very fast dynamics and excellent detergency on oily soils. Even when used at low levels, it can boost the degreasing power of the detergent without reducing the foam. It has a lower tendency to form gel compared to longer-chain alcohol ethoxylates.

Pluronic® L 62 is a nonionic block copolymer surfactant with a 20% ethylene oxide (EO) and propylene oxide (PO) composition. Lutensol® CS 6250 is a clear, colorless liquid with 100% activity that is a good solubilizer, penetrating agent, and low-foaming agent. It acts as a co-solvent or co-surfactant with a cloud point greater than 100 °C. It is a petroleum-based, non-ionic surfactant, and Lutensol® AO 7 is the main component in this category.

Lutensol® XP 80 is a 100% active product with very fast wetting and effective cleaning. It is readily biodegradable and has a lower tendency to form gels compared to longer-chain alcohol ethoxylates. Additionally, it is listed on the EPA’s Safer Chemical Ingredients List. The final surfactant choice would be formulation-dependent.

Lutensol® XL 70 is a 100% active product with very fast dynamics and excellent detergency on oily soils. It has a lower tendency to form a gel compared to longer-chain alcohol ethoxylates due to its fast-acting nature, which is attributed to its superior wetting profile.

Lutensol® TDA 3 is an ethoxylated tridecyl alcohol POE (3). It is a good emulsifier with good wetting, dispersing, and solubilizing properties and relatively low foaming. It has a wide range of applications, including its use in emulsifier concentrates, emulsions (oil and water), microemulsions, suspension concentrates, suspo-emulsions, soluble liquids, and wettable powders.

Plurafac® LF 403 is a low-foaming nonionic surfactant composed of predominantly unbranched fatty alcohols alkoxylated with higher alkene oxides and ethylene oxide. Its most important properties are wetting, low-foaming, or even defoaming, making it an excellent choice for controlling foam, particularly when used in combination with Glucopon® surfactant and Deriphat® 160 C.

Lutensol® XL 40 is available as a 100% active product and is suitable for machine floor cleaning as a foam controlling and degreasing agent. The level of residual alcohol is comparatively very low when compared to regular alcohol ethoxylates with the same degree of ethoxylation. It has a HLB value of 10.5 and is listed on the Safer Choice label. The final surfactant choice will be dependent on the formulation.

Pluronic® 25R4 is a highly effective block copolymer surfactant with terminal secondary hydroxyl groups.
