Lameform® TGI is a water-in-oil emulsifier that is used in the production of cosmetic emulsions, lipophilic sticks, and ointments. It is a clear, yellowish liquid that turns cloudy at room temperature. This product is used as a water-in-oil emulsifier for cold manufacturing, and the cloudy appearance is reversible by heating.

Emulgade® 165 is a nonionic self-emulsifying cream base for various skin care applications. It is a standard, all-purpose, O/W cream base that is supplied in white to slightly yellow pellets with a characteristic odor. It is particularly useful for hair and scalp care formulations.

Lutensol® XP 70 is a 100% active product suitable for machine and manual floor cleaning as a low-foaming degreasing agent. It is readily biodegradable, has a lower tendency to form gel compared to longer-chain alcohol ethoxylates, and is listed on Safer Choice. The final surfactant choice, however, would be formulation-dependent.

Pluracare® L 1220 copolymer is a product resulting from the reaction between ethylene oxide (EO) and propylene oxide (PO). It is used as a solubilizer for flavors and fragrances in aqueous and hydro-alcoholic systems, such as mouthwashes. It enhances whitening efficacy and provides binding and retention to the tooth surface, as well as stain prevention benefits. This product is often combined with Pluracare® L 4370 to form anhydrous bases for personal care formulations, including toothpastes.

Sokalan® CP 7 Granules NL is a polymeric dispersing agent that has the potential to inhibit incrustation and scale formation. This is due to its ability to disperse suspended solids, which boosts detergent efficacy and overcomes deficiencies seen when phosphates are removed from formulations.

Plurafac® LF 303 is a low-foaming nonionic surfactant composed of predominantly unbranched fatty alcohols alkoxylated with higher alkene oxides and ethylene oxide. Its most important properties are wetting, low-foaming, or even defoaming, making it an excellent choice for controlling foam, particularly when used in combination with Glucopon® surfactant and Deriphat® 160 C.

Cetiol® PGL is a medium spreading emollient that has good balancing sensorial properties and is suitable for all cosmetic applications. It is a colorless oil with weak inherent odor. This product is suitable for use in Skin Care, Cleanser, Hair care, Shampoo and Conditioner, Styling product, Bath and Body, Hand and foot care, Personal care and Face Care.

Mat-XS™ Clinical was created by the experts at BASF in response to the widespread consumer concern over oily skin. This product provides a clearer, smoother complexion. The daily use of Mat-XS™ Clinical has been demonstrated to reduce the oily appearance of the skin, the appearance of the size of pores, and improve the evenness of the complexion. This product is especially suitable for Asian and European skin types.

Cremophor® GS 32 is a distearate ester of triglycerol, with good physiological compatibility (PEG-free). It is a nonionic emulsifier that is suitable for emulsions with high concentrations of natural oils and UV filters and is an alternative to EO or sulfate-based emulsifiers. It can be used in face and body creams for dry and greasy skin, as well as in sun protection preparations.

Lutensol® A 12 N is a nonionic surfactant based on C12–C14 ethoxylated lauryl alcohol and is supplied in solid wax form. It serves as a wetting agent, emulsifier, and process aid. The product is suitable for use in various formulation types, such as suspoemulsions, suspension concentrates, and soluble liquids.

POSTBIOLIFT™ is a bioactive ingredient derived from the biofermentation process of Lactobacillus crispatus. It contains dormant cells of the living bacterium, which contributes to more elastic skin, a smoother appearance of wrinkles around the eyes, and an even complexion. As skin microbiota diversity changes with age, certain beneficial lactic acid bacteria decrease in mature skin. Glucopon® 50 G is an alkyl polyglycoside on an inorganic and organic carrier. It is listed on the EPA’s Safer Chemical Ingredients List.
