- PVA is widely used in 3D printing as support material that can then be dissolved. Some complex designs involving many extended overhangs can only be produced by using a support structure. Otherwise, the printed structure would warp or simply collapse.
- BigRep PVA support filament is water soluble and the warmer the water, the faster it dissolves, so it provides more time for creating those tortuous prints and demands less time for refining the results.
- This advanced filament has been optimized for improved melt flow characteristics, meaning there is no longer cause for concern about clogging of the hot end.
