    • Untreated wood fibers are hydrophilic and fluffy.​ Making them difficult to use in plastic production. Our patented technology increases the wood-fibers compatibility with polymer matrices. This is why injection molding with FibraQ exhibits higher flowability and enables production in larger volumes than other wood-based bio-granulate brands today.
    • ​It is fully customizable, allowing you to have full control over the final material mix according to your product requirements and sustainability goals. Our flexible approach means you can use your existing infrastructure and polymers to create your injection or compression molded product, while at the same time reducing your reliance on fossil fuel-based plastic
    • ​FibraQ can be mixed with virgin/recycled PE and PP, PS or other biopolymers and the biogranulate can be processed via injection molding or thermoforming.

    • FibraQ  comes in a compacted and hydrophobic granulate format. This makes them easier to feed into plastic compounders and enable better material performance, as well as the possibility to mix it with a wide variety of plastics of your choice by using current machinery. ​

    For product manufacturers

    • We give manufactures a chance to offer a sustainable material at an affordable price, competitive performance and good processability. Our modified wood fibers can be mixed with many types of polymers at one of our compounder partners or your existing compounding partner.​ Our material is suitable for Injection- or compression-moldable products - e.g. for consumer products, storage boxes, furniture, toys, garden tools, electronics or car interiors etc.

    Licensing for Wood fiber producers

    • We provide fiber producers with a new business opportunity:​​ We license our technology to fiber producers who can produce the FibraQ brand to supply the demand of the plastic industry. We are looking for wood fiber based newsprint mills who would like to transform their spare wood fiber production capacity to enter into the plastic market, and we are enabling this by applying our patented technology. 
    • ​By using the spare capacity from the existing Forest industry, our product is highly scalable. The technology is easily implemented within already existing production lines in paper mills, and can therefor be applied globally. This contributes to less shipping costs and is better for the environment. But it also contributes to social sustainability by keeping the otherwise declining paper industry alive!
    • ​The wood fibers we currently use are sourced from sustainably managed Nordic forest with FSC and PEFC certification.​
