Biosynthetic® Technologies has developed a revolutionary new class of high-performance bio-based additives for metalworking fluids, called Biocea™. These novel sustainable additives use the patented estolide technology and are biobased, biodegradable, non-bioaccumulative, and non-toxic. Biocea additives deliver superior lubricity, film strength, biostability, hydrolytic stability, oxidation stability, and increased polarity on both ferrous and non-ferrous alloys. They are derived from natural oils and improve the overall quality of formulated metalworking fluid. Biocea additives can result in increased productivity, reduced waste and down time, and lower cost in your overall manufacturing operation.

BioEstolides™ are REACH registered and Kosher, Vegan and Halal certified and provide exceptional moisturization characteristics as well as a light, satiny feel. In addition, BioEstolide™ are multi-functional and not only enhance the feel and performance of other cosmetic ingredients, but they come with some powerful benefits of their own. Biosynthetic Technologies sustainable bases oils can be used in the manufacturing of Personal Car Motor Oils (PCMO). Our sustainable base oils can be used as the primary base oil of a lubricant formulation, a component of a base oil co-blend, or even as an additive. To showcase the capabilities of the Biosynthetic Technologies sustainable base oils, we developed a high performance PCMO. This motor oil is approved by the American Petroleum Institute (API) and API SN-RC certified for 5W-20 and 5W-30 gasoline engines. Field testing showed that engines running on Biosynthetic® motor oil had far less varnish, ran cleaner when compared to commercially available mineral oil based motor oil.
