It is a low shear range associative HEUR thickener for water-based coating systems. This product contains no emulsifiers and is tin-, VOC- and APEO-free. It is 30 % active in water.

Rheology Modifier Promoting Pigment Wetting and StabilizationBorchi® Gel L 75 N is a polyurethane-based, non-ionic liquid rheology modifier that promotes good pigment wetting and stabilization and is VOC-, APEO-, and organo tin-free. It is a HEUR thickener that develops viscosity stability in water-based coatings, mainly in the medium shear range. However, Borchi® Gel L 75 N can also provide well-balanced efficiency in high shear ranges. Typically, the shear range is between 1000 s-1 to 10000 s-1 depending upon the binder type and other ingredients in the coating.
