accelothene® is a polymer modifier for flowability improvement. accelothene® is predominantly used in the polyolefin processing industry for injection molding, extrusion and blow molding process. accelothene® is an innovative polyolefin composition, which allows a co-crystallization with the base polymer that is injected. This provides the great advantage of no negative impacts on the mechanical performance of the product. accelothene® is delivered as colorless pellets and is added to the base polymer with standard dosage equipment. accelothene® enhances the injection molding process, which enables manufacturers of plastic goods to reduce the processing temperature, to significantly cut the cooling time, to shorten the total cycle time by up to 25%. This in turn leads to energy savings, and at the same time increased production capacity. Furthermore, the lower processing temperature reduces internal stress, resulting in improved end-use properties such as impact resistance.

Acrodur® acrylic resins are available as an aqueous solution. They are self-cross-linking and without formaldehyde release. BTC’s range of Acrodur® types gives decorative foils, filters, and wallpaper excellent mechanical properties. Acronal® types with specific properties give the best performance for mineral, glass fibers, and natural fibers (acrylic resins as a binding agent). Acronal® latexes are based on styrene-acrylate polymers and provide optimum printability and low yellowing tendency.

Alcomer® are specialized fluid-loss control additives, which remain stable even against concentrated salt solutions. They allow reliable cementing jobs even under difficult conditions. They also act as powerful deoilers (reverse demulsifiers) and help remove residual oil from separated water. BTC’s Alcomer® gelling agents in general are mostly applied in two ways: ensuring that proppants are placed correctly in hydraulic fracturing and, when applied in combination with acids, to ensure a good matrix acidizing frac job. The also serve as friction reducers. A much more efficient pumping during hydraulic fracturing is usually achieved by applying our Alcomer® types. Alcomer® are used to prevent shale from swelling. They reduce water loss from stimulation fluids to the formation. Unwanted fluid production can be mitigated by the use of these conformance control polymers. Successfully drilled wellbores are cleaned up after the fact with Alcomer® flocculants.

Acronal® is a range water-based emulsions. Acronal® range for exterior paints covers styrene and pure acrylics which offer a very high durability against the influence of weathering. Acronal® range for wood and trim paints offer a very high durability against the influence of weathering. In addition, our styrene acrylics have an outstanding chemical resistance, which is very important for exterior applications. BTC’s range of Acronal® dispersions covers both selfcrosslinking and non selfcrosslinking dispersions. BTC’s range of Acronal® types give decorative foils, filters and wallpaper excellent mechanical properties. In air and oil filters for the automotive industry they improve durability and performance. In high-quality decorative paper foil, our binders ensure a high level of stability of the bonded fibers. To abrasives our binders ensure the abrasives flexibility and reduce abrasive particle wear. BTC’s Acronal® types for natural fibers are acrylic dispersions. BTC’s range of Acronal® types give nonwovens made of synthetic fibers their exceptional and different functional properties.
