Properties
  • The Cegepal® and Sett® product range is based on vegetable oils as coconut oil, rape seed oil, palm oil or sunflower oil, which is spry dried on a carrier (protein + carbohydrates). They are therewith available in powder form. 
  • All BASF fat powders complies with the current specifications established by the Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on Food Additives (JECFA) and the current EU Regulation laying down specifications for food additives.
  • The product should be stored at temperatures below 20°C (details in the technical information) in a dry place, kept away from odor-intensive products. In its unopened original package under the above mentioned conditions the product has a shelf life of 9, 12, or 15 months (type dependent). 
  • The Cegepal® types are not intended as an ingredient for food applications for infants under the age of 12 month.
  • Our functional fat Powders improve the organoleptic properties of the final product as well as the milky-creamy appearance, mouthfeel and creaminess.
