Sokalan® range comprises dispersing agents that are used to eliminate or reduce the impact of water hardness ions during the application of the detergent or cleaning formulation. State-of-the-art laundry formulations consist of sodium polyacrylates, like our Sokalan® types.

Trilon® is a broad product range of high-performance and innovative complexing agents, also known as chelating agents. Trilon® chelating agents belong mainly to the class of amino carboxylates which are organic complexing agents. Chelating agents are able to prevent the deleterious impact of metal ions in technical applications. The presence of free metal ions, such as iron, copper, calcium, manganese, and further other metals, reduces the efficiency or quality of the product due to their catalytic activity, precipitation, or increased microbial growth. Trilon® chelating agents are applied in the manufacture of pulp- and paper, electronic or chemical surface treatment processes, bleaching processes in the textile/leather industry, and versatile chemical processes where metal ions can negatively impact the process.

Dispex® dispersing agents are used to wet and stabilize pigments and other particles in pigmented coatings. For formulators they represent an essential component as they provide color strength, gloss, viscosity, stability and prevent sedimentation of particles. They find application in automotive & industrial coatings, furniture & floorings coatings, inks & printing, exterior & interior coatings, wood & trim coatings, and compsites. Additives like our Dispex® range of dispersing agents are used to stabilize the filler distribution within paints and coatings. For paint producers, they represent an essential component as they provide. They can also be used as agrochemical additives (dispersants) for seed treament.

Agnique® grades are anionic surfactants or blends with anionic character and widley used in crop protection formulations (agrochemical formulations) as an adjuvant. Agnique® grades enhance the efficiency of the used pesticide by its physical-chemical properties. Agnique® products have a broad application field. They are used as wetting agents, emulsifiers compatibilizer and formulated blends.

Lutensol® grades are nonionic surfactants used as wetting agents and low foaming surfactants, emulsifiers.

Tamol® grades are used as dispersants that offer specialized properties making them ideal for improving electroplating processes. Tamol® product range of BASF, BTC offers products for stabilization and dispersion of aqueous dispersions and emulsions as well as scale inhibitors and inhibitors for dye transfer.

MagnaPearl® is a range of mica-based titanium-coated pigments that exhibit a high degree of whiteness combined with brilliance and hiding. They are available in a wide variety of particle sizes creating extraordinary optical effects ranging from a fine-grained luster to a bold silvery-white sparkle. MagnaPearl® effect pigments are pearlescent pigments that are specially engineered. They are available in a variety of particle sizes. BTC’s effect pigments find use in a wide field for the coloration of plastics. They are also suitable for a variety of other industries including the automotive industry as well as the agriculture, building & construction, electrical & electronics, packaging, and textiles & fibers industries. They find also applications in newly emerging markets.

Pluronic® types are chemically EO/PO or PO/EO block polymers used as dispersants. Pluronic® grades offer specialized properties making them ideal for improving electroplating processes.

Plurafac® grades are fatty alcohol alkoxylates. They are petrochemically sourced and are low-foaming nonionic surfactants. They consist of alkoxylated, predominantly unbranched fatty alcohols, and they contain higher alkene oxides alongside ethylene oxide. The fatty alcohol chains of some Plurafac® types terminate in an alkyl group. Their most important properties are wetting, low-foaming, or even defoaming. They are used in versatile chemical-technical applications to ensure a smooth process flow. BTC’s low-foaming surfactants are used in the paper & pulp industry or in the metal treatment industry, especially in metalworking fluids. Also in wood-based fiber production, textile pre-treatment, and coatings formulations.

Luwax® range comprises polyethylene waxes, ethylene copolymer waxes, and oxidized polyethylene waxes that help in maximizing the efficiency of pigment use. Depending on the specification for the final product, waxes can increase color strength, lower the quantity of pigment required, or reduce the shear force needed. They also act as lubricants during the molding or extrusion of final goods and are used during the production of pigment masterbatches and compounds as well as for the processing of PVC and polyolefins.

Librel® range of products are agrochemicals that improve the crops appearance and increase the yield. Librel® encompass single and multiple EDTA chelated micronutrients used for the treatment of deficiencies in crops.

Alamine® products are used as salification agents of pH regulators for agrochemical applications. Other applications of Alamine® include use as extraction reagents for recovery of rare earth metals, molybdenum, vanadium, and uranium.
