Lamesoft® is a range of lipid layer enhancers, opacifiers and performance wax dispersions for the personal care industry. Lipid layer enhancers find use in shower bath and baby products. Wax dispersions are suitable in opacifying and pearlizing in rinse-off applications.

Cetiol® range of products are emollients that are used for all kinds of personal care applications such as creams, lotions, fluids, masks, balms, decorative cosmetics, wipes, and many more. It is used as a lipid layer enhancer in surfactant-type washing and cleansing preparations (shower baths and baby products), and as viscosity formation in aqueous surfactant solutions. The characteristics that help to choose the right emollient are spreading behavior, molecular weight, polarity, functionality, specific performance profiles, and sensory properties. Cetiol® is used as a solubilizer for the production of aqueous cosmetic preparations for lipophilic substances that are used in shampoos, foam and shower baths, alcohol-containing cosmetics, gels, hand-cleaning pastes, skin care emulsions, and many more.

Protectol® types are biocides that are rated as active substances under the European Biocidal Products Regulation. Protectol® products are used for human hygiene purposes as well as for the disinfection of surfaces, materials, equipment, and furniture and for veterinary hygiene purposes.

Nutrilan® types are skin-identical amino acid compositions with a high substantivity to skin and hair. BTC’s protein derivatives Nutrilan® strengthen, protect and repair hair. They as well show improved skin and mucous membrane compatibility of surfactant formulations. They are used as care additives in personal care formulations such as mild surfactant preparations, skincare, sun care, and hair care products.
