Chimassorb® 944 LD is a hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) belonging to the chemical family. Its chemical composition comprises 1,6-hexanediamine, N,N'-bis(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidinyl), polymer with 2,4,6-trichloro-1,3,5-triazine, and reaction products with 2,4,4-trimethyl-2-pentanamine. Designed for use in CASE ingredients, plastics, and elastomers, it serves as a light stabilizer and thermal stabilizer, as well as a stabilizer and UV stabilizer.
