Camco Chemicals Chelate-270 is a clear, light-yellow colored liquid with an ultralow-foaming profile and added chelating and caustic enhancing agents. CHELATE 270 enhances the cleaning power of your caustic solutions by increasing the penetrating and rinsing ability of your CIP solution, controlling minerals in the cleaning solution, preventing deposition or scale development on equipment, and reducing or controlling the foam levels in your CIP or cleaning system. CHELATE 270 was designed to complete your CIP caustic solution.

Use Levels

While each cleaning application, soil load, and system is different, the typical use level is approximately 2-6 gallons of CHELATE 270 per 100-gallons of liquid caustic soda (Use rates per the caustic amount only, not the total CIP solution—eg. For each 100 gallons of 50% caustic added to your CIP tank, use 2-6 gallons of CHELATE 270).
