DetenLAB® 240 (LAB) is mainly used as a raw material to produce linear alkylbenzene sulfonic acid (LABSA) via sulfonation reaction and then linear alkylbenzene sulfonate (LAS) through neutralization. LAS is one of the major anionic surfactants used in the market for household detergents, such as laundry powders, laundry liquids, dishwashing products and all - purpose cleaners, as well as other minor applications in a wide range of different industries
