Chemiphase Citrasolv HDX - Oilfield Heavy Duty Degreaser is a highly concentrated and biodegradable oil degreaser formulated for use in heavy industry such as the oilfield or areas of high grease or oil. Citrasolv HDX is a high powered cleaning & degreasing agent which is still gentle to surfaces it is applied too. Citrasolv HDX rig cleaner will dissolve and emulsify oil and greasy grime so that dirt and emulsion can be quickly washed away with water, leaving a clean surface with no residue. It removes dirt, oil and grime from equipment, floors and clothes. Citrasolv HDX industrial degreaser is very easy to use and will not harm painted surfaces or rubber. Citrasolv HDX is effective with either fresh or salt water.

    Applications of Citrasolv HDX - Oilfield Rig Wash

    For heavy-duty cleaning, mix Citrasolv HDX industrial oil degreaser to the desired solution. It is formulated to efficiently clean industrial equipment, engines, pumps, all types of machinery, tanks and compressors, trucks, tools, floors, drives and any painted or metal surfaces. It is harmless to rubber and to painted wood when solution instructions are followed. Citrasolv HDX may also be used as a steam cleaning compound and in washing machines for badly soiled work clothes. Citrasolv HDX rig wash detergent is designed to be as flexible as possible for all heavy oil removal applications.

    Using Citrasolv HDX to remove Oil Stains from Patios and Paving:

    Oil can penetrate readily into hard surface materials (particularly lubricating or fuel oil), but it should not stain if any spillages are removed promptly with an absorbent material e.g. paper towels, cloth.  Do not attempt to wet the stain as this will drive the oil into the surface of the patio and spread it over a wider area.

    If the stain persists then an emulsifying degreaser should be employed - Citrasolv HDX.  Brush the cleaner onto the affected area, leave for a period of time according to required dilution and the wash away the emulsified oil away with plenty of clean water.  Alternatively the surface can be scrubbed with detergent and hot water taking care to ensure that the strength of the detergent is not detrimental to the appearance of the paving.

    Directions of Use for Citrasolv HDX - Oilfield Rig Washing Detergent
    • General Cleaning: 100:1 (100 parts of water per 1 part Citrasolv HDX)
    • Heavy Duty Cleaning: 25:1 (25 parts of water per 1 part Citrasolv HDX)
