Features & Benefits
- Materials Features
- Properties
It is tan wax. Melting point ≥75°C. Soluble in benzene, gasoline, chloroethene and acetone; insoluble in water.
- Functions
Because it has protective character to heat, oxidation, flexing and crazing, ODA can be used as antioxidant for NR, SBR, CR, NBR, etc. It can also be used as antioxidant for polyolefin and lubricating oil. When ODA is used in CR with Antioxidant ODA as co-reagent, it will perform its best thermal resistance, reduce the plasticity of unvulcanized CR, and decrease the degree of shrinkage during calendering, so is helpful to adjust the size of semi finished articles, and increase the stability of CR during transportation and storage. ODA is mainly used to produce tires, tube tires, cables, rubber overshoes, rubber mats, thermal aureoles and sponge products, etc
