IMMULINA™ is a spirulina extract and the predominant active compounds are Braun-type lipoproteins which are useful for improving human immune function. These lipoproteins are present at much greater levels than those found within commonly used immune enhancing botanicals such as Echinacea and ginseng.

The NIAGEN® ingredient is ChromaDex’s patent-protected form of nicotinamide riboside (NR). NR is a unique member of the vitamin B3 family. Cells can use NR to create nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+), which is an essential molecule found in every living cell.

NIAGEN® NR is a next-generation vitamin B3 that has been found to be naturally-occurring in milk in trace amounts.1 The metabolism of NR is unique from that of other more commonly known forms of vitamin B3, nicotinamide and nicotinic acid. Specifically, NR has been shown in a pre-clinical study to be the most effective form of vitamin B3, increasing nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) more than nicotinic acid and stimulating NAD+-consuming activities better than nicotinamide.2.
