SILCO® GA 5143 is an 80% active non-ionic emulsion of extremely high molecular weight polydimethylsiloxane. This emulsion is completely VOC-free and specially developed to provide slip and mar resistance in water-borne systems. It reduces the coefficient of friction, provides antilocking, and imparts leveling and wetting.

Recommendation for Use

To optimize the dispersion of SILC0 GA 5143 into the final formulation, it is recommended to add it slowly at the end of the procedure at a temperature below 40°C with continuous mixing or stirring. Recommended use levels for conditioners is 1% to 5%.
