- Compatible Polymers & Resins
- Coating Type
- Use Level
- 4.0 - 8.0 %
- Recommendation for Use
- We generally recommend adding 4.0 - 8.0 % VARIPHOB® AC 2530 in aqueous coating systems related to the total formulation.
- The optimal dosage has to be determined in pre-trials.
- The product is typically considered a binder when calculating the pigment volume concentration due to its crosslinking character.
- In aqueous coating systems the product is added during or at the end of the production process.
- Application Technique
- VARIPHOB® AC 2530 is especially recommended for pigmented formulations.
- Preferred Application Fields:
- Dispersion paints and plasters
- Silicate paints and plasters
- Silicone resin paints and plasters

Storage & Handling
- Shelf Life
- 12 months
- Storage Conditions
- In closed original containers at room temperature (approx. 23°C) the product will be stable for at least 12 months.
- Stir before use.
- Stability
- VARIPHOB® AC 2530 is sensitive to frost, after the impact of temperatures below the freezing point irreversible changes can occur.
- The containers must be protected from direct sun radiation and keep from temperatures higher than 30°C.
