Greece has a long-lasting tradition when it comes to goat husbandry. Greek people have perceived goats as a godsend gift and were treated with utmost respect and care due to their health-related importance. It is explicit for us that the only way to make a good natural product is with respect and appreciation towards the animal.

Cows in Greek mythology and Greek history have also played a significant role in the commencement of a long-lasting healthy relationship with the animals. In Greek mythology the Cattle of Helios are described by Homer in the Odyssey as excellent, well fed, and straight horned. The mythical cattle were guarded by Helios’s daughters and it was well known that any harm done to a single animal would bring down the Wrath of god. In other words, any harm done to any number of animals would eventually be many times more harmful for ourselves. In our company, we abide by the Greek tradition and ancient wisdom not because of fear of consequence but out of respect for knowledge.
