Sentinel® AT® turf type tall fescue blend is particularly adapted for the Transition, Southern and Northern zones. With improved varieties such as Temple, Thunderstruck, Black Tail, Thor, Trinity, and Diablo comprising the blend, Sentinel® AT® has shown improved darker green color and narrower leaf texture ratings. With the AT® (Aggressive Tillering) trait you get improved density, increased root mass and enhanced establishment. Sentinel® AT® features excellent resistance to a complex list of diseases including brown patch and leaf spot. Blue Mesa is a true Sheep’s Fescue (festuca Ovina) which is very limited in today’s marketplace. It is designed for low maintenance lawn and landscape areas, but can be a high quality turf when maintained with irrigation. Its low rate of leaf growth allows for infrequent mowings. When Blue Mesa is unmown, it will form a natural meadow type area. Blue Mesa is a bunch type grass with a fine leaf texture and a soft blue-gray leaf color, making it a great choice where a contrast in color is desired. Blue Mesa shows good winter color which differs from many other cool season species that go off-color with winter dormancy. Blue Mesa is a very versatile variety. It has excellent shade tolerance and handles drier shade environments. Blue Mesa is frequently used where soil erosion control is needed. Blue Mesa can also be used in flower bed or wildflower plantings.

With a medium green color and rapid establishment, it is known for its aggressive, lateral growth habit and wide range of adaptability. Penncross is excellent for greens, tees, and fairways.

TourPro quickly produces an elegant, low growing turf with a medium fine-leaf surface that is durable. It was rated #1 in Turf Quality in the 2015 NTEP Traffic Stress Trial. TourPro has shown superior disease resistance to Dollar Spot and Pink Snow Mold. TourPro has high shoot density and great density during the growing season which helps crowd out and control poa annua. TourPro was rated #2 in the 2015 NTEP drought stress trial. Using drought tolerant turfgrass varieties like TourPro allows turf managers to conserve water usage. Legendary Velvet Bentgrass is a new introduction in 2005 from Lebanon Turf, and will set the new standard for golf course greens. It is the first of an allnew generation of velvet bentgrasses that may change the way Golf Course Architects and Superintendents design and manage golf course greens in the future. Legendary features a vibrant medium-green color, dense growth habit, and a very smooth consistent putting surface. It also exhibits improved shade and drought tolerance and has a reduced requirement for water, fertilizer, and fungicide inputs as compared to traditional creeping bentgrass varieties. Velvet bentgrass is generally more dollar spot resistant than creeping bentgrass and more brown patch resistant that colonial bentgrass. Legendary was selected for improved resistance to dollar spot, copper spot and brown patch, as well as overall turf quality.

Toro fodder radish is late maturing variety from Columbia Seeds® that forms a long slender tap . The color of the flowers are violet. Toro can also be used to help control nematodes. It has been shown to help reduce Trichodorus and Paratrichodorus nematodes in potato rotations. Toro is commonly used to help break up hard clay pans in soil profile and as a green manure crop. Due to its very late flowering, it is ideally suited as a green manure crop. Toro is not winter hardy and will be damaged by the first frost. Do not let product go to seed. You will need to mow, chemically spray or do some tillage work to prevent seed heads from forming.

Pepper II perennial ryegrass was selected with salt tolerance in mind, and one of the most effcient ways to improve the health of the turfgrass in salinity stress situations is to select and use salt tolerant varieties like Pepper II. Its salt and drought tolerance provide an excellent turf under the most extreme conditions. First year NTEP results show that Pepper II has excellent salt tolerance, dark color, winter color and Spring green up. Pepper II is a genetically dark variety with excellent wear tolerance. Pepper II is highly recommended for use on golf courses, parks, home lawns, commercial properties and high salinity areas where a fast establishing, high quality turf stand is desired.

Winterlinks is a newer generation dark green cultivar that more closely complements the color of perennial ryegrass and creeping bentgrass. Winterlinks exhibits excellent overall turf quality with dark green color, fine leaf texture, medium to early maturity, and low growth habit. Winterlinks has moderate resistance to Brown Patch, Stem Rust, Powdery Mildew and Red Thread. Winterlinks performs well in cold temperatures and shade. It’s close mowing tolerance and upright growth habit makes it ideal for overseeding on golf course greens.

Gladiator can be used on its own or mixed with other Fine Fescues, Perennial Ryegrass and Kentucky Bluegrass.

Seaside II, with a medium-fine texture, provides a highquality playing surface for greens, tees and fairways. It has shown very good drought tolerance with low fertility requirements and the ability to use effluent or water sources that have a salt level of 15,000 ppm.

Arc Kentucky Bluegrass is a big seeded variety type. This improved variety has shown fast emergence and quick establishment in trials. The parental lines of Arc include Wildwood and Baron Kentucky Bluegrass. Arc produces a dark green medium width leaf blade while offering good resistance to Rust, Drechslera and Anthracnose diseases. When looking for a variety where the application use is for home lawns, commercial properties and parks consider Arc Kentucky Bluegrass.

Sword is a Hard Fescue that combines dark green genetic color, great density, improved traffic tolerance and good overall disease resistance for a desirable quality turf. It has exhibited excellent resistance to Red Thread and good resistance to Dollar Spot. Sword was rated number 4 in NTEPs Fine fescue turf quality rating in “AMMI” group 1 trial. Sword does well in locations that have sandy loam soil. Sword also handles shade and is ideal in low maintenance situations. Sword is ideally suited for golf courses, parks, commercial and residential properties.

P.T. Cruiser consists of two varieties; Winter links, Winter play, and Winter way that are top performing Poa Trivialis varieties that have been formulated to provide improved performance on southern over-seeded tees, greens and fairways or permanent turf situations in cooler climates for shade. Scientific results have proven that using blends enhance genetic diversity. Genetic diversity provides improved germination and establishment plus greater resistance to pests, diseases, or other environmental stresses.

Respect is commonly used to help break up hard clay pans in soil. Fodder radish has a rapid initial development and can generate high dry matter yields especially with generous supply of nitrogen. The crop can withstand the first ground frosts, thus making it to continue to grow for extended periods.
