- Product Background
Adansonia is vegetal type which includes 8 species of trees, amongst them 6 are originally from Madagascar, one from Africa and one from Australia. RENIALA grows naturally in Madagascar since centuries and is the biggest species of endemic baobabs in Madagascar. Some trees can reach 30 meters high and 7,5 meters wide.
The fruit is an oval green pod (around 15- 20 cm long) including several seeds wrapped in a white very nutritional pulp. This pulp is used as food and as a refreshing drink after being dipped in milk.
The white-beige seeds are protected by a thick and hard shell. They can hold up to 60% of oil.
- Product Highlights
- RENIALA Oil is ideal to treat dry and damaged skin, as well as a hair care product. Thanks to its content in Omegas 3, 6 and 9, the oil has softening properties which are useful to treat Eczema and Psoriasis
- RENIALA Oil departs from other Baobab oil by its content in fats.
- It possesses a high proportion of Palmitic Acid, Oleic Acid (omega 9) and Linoleic Acid (omega 6) with a significant presence of Nonadecanoic Acid that gives the oil an interesting potential in both skin and hair care products.
- Key Attributes
- It has been scientifically proved by an in-vivo experiment that oil from the baobab seed increases the skin’s elasticity.
- Antioxidants protect the cells from damages caused by unstable substances known as free radicals. Free radicals are involved in chronic diseases, cancers and aging process. Thanks to its high contents in fats, this baobab oil does wonders in anti-aging skin treatment.
- Linoleic Acid is one of the essential fat acids that must be consumed in order to be in good health. It is used in our body to synthesize Arachidonic Acid and therefore prostaglandins. It is found in the cell membrane’s lipids. A lack of Linoleic Acid and Omega 6 generates dry hair, hair loss and longer tissue regeneration.
