Patawa is a palm tree native to the tropical forests of Central and South America (Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, Brazil, Bolivia, Ecuador, and Peru). Today it is mainly found in the Amazon. It is a palm tree that can reach an average height of 10 to 25 meters, see more for some trees. The flowers of the palm are yellow. A palm tree can produce up to 300 drupes 1.3 cm long.
