The sunflower or Helianthus belongs to the family of the Asteraceae. They grow to 1.8 m (6 ft) and are primarily found in woodlands, adjacent to creeks and moist, prairie-like areas.
To grow best, sunflowers need full sun. They grow best in fertile, moist, well-drained soil with heavy mulch. In commercial planting, seeds are planted 45 cm (1.48 ft) apart and 2.5 cm (0.98 in) deep.

- Polyunsaturated fatty acids have a protective role on the skin. They leave a thin greasy film on the skin allowing cell regeneration, the skin is afterwards more elastic. They also have an anti-inflammatory role, which favors the healing in case of superfical wounds.
- Cosm’Oil SUNFLOWER has a high content in Oleic (omega9), Linoleic (omega6) et Linolenic(omega3) acids. It gives to this oil very interesting anti inflammatory properties (omega 3 & omega 6) with good penetration in the upper layers of the skin thanks to the oleic acid (omega 9). Its content in Palmitic ans stearic acids afford a soft touch to your products over the skin.
